I’m from out of town and found Jimmy’s via an online search for Weaverville auto mechanics. I made an appointment online and the follow up communication was awesome. Service was great and timely and the guys at the front desk very friendly. I believe their pricing is competitive and highly recommend them!

I brought my vehicle in last year for an alignment after replacing my control arms and suspension. I had also installed new cam adjustment bolts in the lower control arms. They got the vehicle running straight but while doing so they stripped out all four brand new adjustable cam bolt washers in turn, ruining my new lower control arm bushings. I only recently noticed that my cam bolts were 180Β° off from each other while under the car working on some other parts. So I called and chatted with them and asked if anything could be done (yes I know its been a little over a year) but their shotty work is now costing me over $400 in parts alone to fix what they broke. They offered me nothing. Brian said they cant stand by their work if its been over a year since I was in. Just a warning I guess to anyone else wanting work done. More expensive doesn't always mean more better. My lesson learned. Won't go back here again.

Everyone is very nice. They kept me up to date with everything they were doing and gave recommendations for things that my car will need to be fixed. They even gave me a ride to and from the shop. The work was done well and quickly. I will definitely recommend their services.

About a year ago, I moved to Asheville North Carolina and began searching for a reliable mechanic. After coming across Jimmy’s Automotive, I decided to give them a try, and I’m genuinely glad I did. From my very first interaction with Michael, he was easygoing, professional, patient, and incredibly informative. I tend to ask a lot of questions when it comes to my vehicle, and not once did he make me feel uncomfortable, incompetent, or talked down to which unfortunately, can be a common experience, especially as a woman dealing with mechanics or dealerships. Instead, he took the time to explain everything thoroughly in a way I could understand, and even when I wanted more details, he continued to answer my questions without any frustration or impatience. One thing that really stood out to me was how far he went to help me. He even made a small adjustment to my vehicle to help ensure I could safely make it home from the shop.Thankfully, he did, because I likely wouldn’t have made it home otherwise. The team overall has also been respectful and accommodating throughout my experiences there. They allowed me to drop my vehicle off before business hours, leave it there after hours when

They give you a very in depth report but they’re certainly going to try to sell you on services that aren’t necessary (for an insane price as well). Use the report they give you and get a second opinion before you agree to everything they’re trying to sell you on. They tried telling me to change all four of my tires when they gave me a report saying that my back ones were good. In the end, I paid $900 for two tires and diagnostic fees after they tried selling me on $5k of total work. They’re a great shop if you want a detailed report of the condition of your car but it really kind of ends there.
